The team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) understand that these are challenging times for those working in education, with both staff, students and parents adjusting to a new way of learning.
To help with remote learning and to keep our young people busy during isolation, they have created the Teddy Medic Challenge. Each Tuesday, they will release an online challenge for children to engage with at home or for those children still attending school.
The challenges will be centred around the award winning Be a 999 Hero programme and led by Teddy Medic himself. They aim to make this as interactive as possible and will encourage families and teachers to share children’s work with our community by posting it online.
The first Teddy Medic Challenge ‘Helicopters & Rainbows’ is already available through the Sky Heroes website. They are asking children to get arty and say ‘thank you’ to the air ambulance team.
The amazing Critical Care Team are still doing their life-saving work in our community. Any support or encouragement from the children in our region could really make their day.
So please share this with anyone you know who may want to take part.

I've uploaded a scratch animation that you can view here:

Can you create an animation showing what you are doing whilst school is closed? Share the links on your blog page so we can view them. When we come back to school, we will watch a selection and vote for our favourite.
A reminder that all home learning resources are on our website under Pupils > Home Learning. Each year group page has a link titled Week Commencing 23/03/20 for learning linked to this week.
We use the SCARF resources for our PSHE curriculum and Harold – their happy, healthy giraffe mascot and a favourite with children – will be posting a daily blog: Harold’s Daily Diary! Here’s the link to it: https://www.coramlifeeducation.org.uk/harolds-daily-diary
It would be great to read the children's responses to Harold's blog in our own Clanfield blogs.
