Salary Details: Grade B1 - B3 dependent upon experience

Hours of Work: Term time only Monday - Friday

Job/Person Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and flexible person to work as a Teaching Assistant supporting the needs of children in class, at breakfast club and at lunch time. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, is passionate about working with children and really wants to make a difference.

      Applicants will have:

  • Experience in a classroom environment at primary level
  • Motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Commitment to contribute to the progression of learning and school life

    Your duties will include:
  • Welcoming children and helping them to settle in to the session
  • Serve breakfast whilst ensuring safe and hygienic food practices are followed
  • Providing children with a variety of activities
  • Supporting children with a range of learning needs in class and small groups
  • Delivering interventions to support children's learning
  • Ensure our children are safe, happy and well behaved during lunch time
  • Administer basic first aid [training can be provided]
