Job/Person Summary


We are looking for a friendly, reliable and flexible person to work as a Teaching Assistant in our breakfast club, in class supporting the needs of children and at lunch time. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, is passionate about working with children and really wants to make a difference.

      Applicants will ideally have:

  • Experience in a classroom environment at primary level
  • Motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Commitment to contribute to the progression of learning and school life
    Your duties will include:
  • Welcoming children and helping them to settle in to the session
  • Serve breakfast whilst ensuring safe and hygienic food practices are followed
  • Providing children with a variety of activities
  • Supporting children with a range of learning needs in class and small groups
  • Supervising our children in the dining hall whilst they eat their lunch, outside in the playground, or in their classrooms if wet break
  • ensure our children are safe, happy and well behaved during lunch time
  • administer basic first aid [training can be provided]
