Pupil Premium at Clanfield Junior School

The Pupil Premium Grant is additional government funding given to schools to help ensure that every child has the same opportunities to succeed, regardless of their background or personal circumstances.

At Clanfield Junior School, we use this funding carefully to remove barriers to learning and provide the right support for every child to be the best they can be. This might include:

• Providing extra academic support and small-group teaching.

• Offering extra emotional or wellbeing support 

• Helping with access to trips, clubs or enrichment opportunities.

• Developing resources and training to support high-quality teaching for all.

We review how the funding is used each year to make sure it is having a positive impact on children’s progress, confidence and enjoyment of school life.
