We’re delighted to announce that we’ve secured funding from Get Up And Go, local councillor John Smart, and the Orienteering Foundation to support an exciting new project! We’re creating an orienteering course on our school grounds — a brilliant way for our children to enjoy active learning during PE lessons and to develop teamwork skills outside the classroom. Once completed, the course will also be open for after-school clubs, family days, half-term fun days, and even community events in partnership with the Southampton Orienteering Club. We can’t wait to see our pupils — and the wider community — exploring, navigating, and enjoying this new adventure space!

2026 update:

Our maps have been created and the permanent course is being fitted at the end of February- we are all so excited! Our staff will be having training too, and then we can start orienteering with the children.
