Classroom provision

Responding to need:

We take great pride in knowing our children really well; their likes, worries, interests, and most importantly, what they need to be successful. Our approach to understanding individual pupil's needs and creating a bespoke package for them, enables us to be highly inclusive.

If a child needs a deeper level of support, staff use a pathway 'toolkit' to develop stronger relationships, create a more secure sense of belonging and to  understand exactly how to meet their needs:

Learning support:

Teachers use assessment for learning to help give children precisely what they need in their lessons to be successful. The learning is adapted or scaffolded to help children access the key knowledge or skills being taught at the appropriate pitch for them. We use feedback to help develop independence and effective learning behaviours. Sometimes children will take part in pre-learning tasks (before the main lesson), over learning activities (after the main lesson) or adult-led group work to help secure the learning.
