STEM ecologist visit
Learning from Nature: STEM Ecology Workshop
Following pupil feedback, our children shared that they wanted to spend more time exploring the pond area — so we made it happen! We were thrilled to welcome a STEM ecologist who specialises in newts to visit our school and lead a fascinating hands-on workshop.
Children had the opportunity to take part in exciting learning sessions, discovering more about pond habitats, wildlife, and conservation. Our wonderful Clanfield Rangers proudly supported the workshops, helping to guide their peers and share their own knowledge about caring for our school environment.
It was a truly inspiring day that deepened everyone’s understanding of the natural world — and reminded us all just how lucky we are to have such fantastic outdoor learning spaces here at CJS! 🐸🌿
