Family support at CJS
Building trusting and supportive relationships with our families is something we are very proud of at CJS. We value the strong partnerships we build with parents and carers, working together to help every child thrive. We value the vital role of our Family Support Worker and are proud of the support we offer to parents and carers.
Mrs Moakes works closely with families in a bespoke, supportive, and completely non-judgemental way. She takes time to get to know our parents and carers, listening carefully and finding out exactly what support is needed to help each family feel confident and supported. Mrs Moakes can offer guidance and, where appropriate, refer families to additional services such as the school nursing team or the Early Help Hub. She also works closely with our Inclusion Leader, Mrs Pinhorne, to ensure families receive the right support at the right time. Mrs Moakes is well equipped to support all families and is a trained Stop Domestic Abuse Ambassador, offering informed, sensitive support when it is most needed.
We are proud of the caring, inclusive approach we take at CJS and encourage families to reach out if they feel support would be helpful—no concern is too small.
If you would like to arrange a meeting, please contact the school office.
