Climate Conference

Our geography lead and Year 6 class teacher, Miss McGlynn, secured an amazing opportunity for our Year 6 children to attend a virtual climate conference. This was perfectly linked to our geography unit all about sustainability.

During the sessions, the children showed great curiosity as they learnt about The Solent, the sustainability of football and even considered where their own clothes came from!

A highlight was a workshop all about the habitat of seahorses where they listened carefully to some expert marine biologists and designed their very own seahorse habitats. Here are some photos of the children hard at work.
