Community Officers
Following the huge success of the Clanfield Rangers, we have created an exciting new volunteering role for our children. All pupils can apply for this role and will be given opportunities throughout the year to support our local community. So far, we have invited year 2 pupils from local infant schools to attend nature adventures, and our children have helped with these sessions, along with hosting new year 3 transition stay and plays.
Several of our Community Officers have also visited Swallow Lodge to sing songs at Christmas and VE day, and also share their learning with the residents.
Sunny Smiles Nursery:
Our community officers have been making a big difference to the children at Sunny Smiles Nursery, popping over to offer support and inviting the toddlers to come and play on our school grounds in the woodland area.
Our pupils were incredibly kind and caring, showing patience, warmth, and responsibility as they welcomed the younger children. It was lovely to see them acting as positive role models and building such caring connections within our wider community.
